Michael DiScala, SIOR

President and Chief Executive Officer

Michael F. DiScala is President and Chief Executive Officer of M.F. DiScala & Company, Inc., Real Estate Investment Bankers, headquartered here in Norwalk.  Established in 1923, it is a privately held, self-administered, real estate organization which is engaged primarily in the business of acquiring, developing, managing and leasing warehouse/distribution facilities and commercial properties throughout Connecticut and in other significant markets throughout the United States.  The portfolio of M.F. DiScala & Company includes over 60 properties in 11 states and 23 cities.   

M.F. DiScala is pleased to announce their newest investment, which is called Hesperia Commerce Park located in Hesperia, CA.  It is a planned industrial development of over nine million square feet. 

Mr. DiScala is a former Trustee for the Norwalk YMCA.  He is also a former Trustee of the Fairfield County Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, former Trustee for the American Cancer Society, and Past President of the Connecticut Chapter of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors.  He is also a founding member of SONO Cares Coalition, whose mission it is to help end homelessness by providing resources for those in need within the City of Norwalk. 

Mr. DiScala is a member of the Norwalk Chamber of Commerce, the Norwalk Historical Society, a long time supporter of CACLD, contributing member of St. Mathew’s Church, and supporter of the Mercy and Sharing Orphanage in Haiti, as well as the Silver Lining Foundation in Aspen, Colorado, a camp for children stricken with cancer. 

Mr. DiScala, a life long Norwalk resident, resides in town with his wife, Donna. They have five children and six grandchildren. 


Alan Webber

Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Webber is responsible for directing the company toward the achievement of its strategies and objectives.  In doing such, Alan specializes in securing debt and equity financing, analyzing assets, and buying and selling of real estate assets.  Financial structuring, planning and forecasting are key components of his responsibilities.  Alan operates the firm under an innovative strategy to maximize client real estate investment yields and cash flow through effective and efficient management.  Alan earned his degree from the University of Delaware and spent his earlier years in the commercial lending and brokerage fields.


Patricia R. Jurgielewicz, RPA

Senior Executive Vice President - Finance

Patricia, as a Partner and the Senior Executive Vice President of Finance, has enjoyed a 30 year career in property and facilities management, responsible for overseeing a full range of property management activities.  Patricia’s focus is in achieving the real estate investment objectives and goals of their client/owners and the strategies that support their financial objectives.  By combining an owner-oriented investment strategy with active hands-on control, her team is able to increase the net operating income of all properties they control.  Patricia holds the designation of Real Property Administrator and is the Past President of Southern Connecticut Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA).


John DiScala

President, Sedona Group

John DiScala is President of Sedona Group and Partner.  With twenty years of professional experience, John is responsible for the overall operations of the Sedona Group portfolio of owned and managed real estate assets.  John oversees all facets of the operations to maximize financial returns.  John represents the third generation of the DiScala family in the real estate asset management business and continues the family philosophy of providing professional services combined with personal attention in order to service their clients’ diverse needs. 


Joseph V. Breault

Executive Vice President & Asset Manager

Joseph brings over 30 years of property management and construction experience to the Sedona team.  A graduate from the School of Business Management at Eastern Connecticut State University, Joseph is a Partner and Asset Manager responsible for lease compliance, administrative, financial and the physical operations of the facilities he manages.  Through his diversity of experience, Joseph possesses the critical tools necessary for the development and implementation of strategies that reduce operating expenses and increase system efficiencies.  Joseph also supervises many of the construction related projects within the company.  Prior to joining the firm, Joe managed and leased Yale University’s residential real estate portfolio.

 


Jason Antonio

Property Manager - Industrial Properties (New Haven)

Jason Antonio is Sedona Group's Industrial Property Manager.  With ten years of property management experience, Jason is responsible for the overall management of our New Haven Industrial properties. Jason oversees all facets of management to ensure tenant satisfaction.  

 


Rich Brousseau

Property Manager - Residential Properties

Rich Brousseau is Sedona Group's Residential Property Manager. Rich  brings over 20 years of Property Management experience to the Sedona Group. He is extremely hands on, has a strong worth ethic and is dedicated to providing excellent customer service.

In his spare time, Rich enjoys coordinating various charity events, gardening and hiking with his two dogs.


Theresa Norrholm

Assistant Finance Manager 

Theresa, as the Assistant Finance Manager, plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient functioning of financial operations. With her meticulous work ethic, strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail, Theresa handles a wide range of responsibilities confidently. From managing accounts payable and receivable to overseeing general bookkeeping tasks, she ensures that financial records are accurate and up-to-date. Theresa also excels in property management communications, effectively liaising with clients to ensure smooth operations. Theresa’s diverse skill set and extensive experience allow her to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, bringing a unique perspective to the team, offering valuable insights and suggestions to optimize processes and improve efficiency. Theresa is a driven and dedicated individual who thrives on challenges.


Bard Soleng

Maintenance Engineer

Bard Soleng is the glue that holds the Sedona Group and it's Tenants together. Bard works alongside Sedona Group's four property managers, ensuring all properties and tenants are taken care of.  His hard work ethic can be seen in his daily routine in the pursuit of excellence which is why most tenants see Bard as thier friend. He is extremely hard working, professional and attentive. Bard is also very involved in the community, where he organizes events which help support those in need. 


Carlos Garcia

Maintenance Technician

Carlos Garcia is a Maintenance Technician, who will be assisting our Senior Maintenance Engineer, Bard Soleng. Carlos has several years of maintenance experience and expertise. Carlos’s goal is just like Bard, going the extra mile to confirm all tasks are completed quickly and efficiently, leaving all Residents happy!
